Wow, that is the question of the season.   If you are ready to purchase a home, today is a wonderful time to make that important purchase.

Why?

  • Interest Rates are very enticing right now.   A lender can show you how much you may save on a house payment with a lower rate now, than one you may qualify for down the road.   End result…your monthly payment is lower than it most likely will be later!
  • Buyers can select their home from a larger inventory today.   We have many listings in the area, and most are priced very fairly, and many have sellers that are still willing to negotiate the price!
  • Invest in Your Valley is all the hype!   Why?   The message is clear…our area is still doing very well, and our economy hasn’t had the suffering that many other regions have encountered.   Our area needs to understand and have faith that we ARE doing well today, and the national media and scares aren’t applying.

All in all, make the beginning of 2009 the time you make the smartest move of your life.   Buying in this market is one of the best decisions one will make!

Okay folks, I’m onto my next running venture.   I’ll be running the relay (6-7 miles) on May 17, 2008.   We started training this past Saturday and have many days of running ahead of us.   It was fantastic, as Dick Beardsley himself was there to chat with us.   He provided much inspiration and I’m so glad to be involved with this running group.   Running isn’t the easiest thing in the world, but it sure allows you to learn about yourself, and the amazing things your mind and body are capable of…as long as you give it the chance!

Okay, so it was a bit of a blizzardy day to say the least, but none the less I gratefully completed my first 5K on December 1, Jingle Bell Run for Arthritis in Fargo.   Proudly finishing in 35:28…placing 133rd!   Next up, Fargo Marathon Relay!

Wow, it’s almost here, the Jingle Bell 5K in South Fargo this Saturday!   I hope you all come out to participate or run along too.   Lets pray for some better weather than we are having tonight…ahhh.

Yeah!   I did the 2.6 mile option in the Bridge to Bridge Bash on Sept 22.   Took me 33:38 but I DID IT!

Okay, so I was feeling awesome and had been jog/walking in sessions of walk 1 minute, jog 5 and repeating for 30 minutes.   Well, I joined Dick Beardsley’s Beginner Running group on Tuesday….started from scratch.   Although it seemed easy, now I’m learning the correct way to do these workouts, and will majorly reduce the possibility for injury.   Plus, I get to make the 5K training journey with tons of other beginners.   Look out road…her I come.

Hey all!   I’m a brand new runner…just a few weeks of walk/jogging under my belt.   Send me any helpful hints & share your stories/hopes/dreams.    I’ll be running a 5K on December 1!     Anyone out there want to join us!?   What are you waiting for?
